Teddy Bear Picnic

Yeah, another kindergarten event! This was a little more low-key. The theme for the month had been teddy bears (other months had been spiders, pumpkins, dinosaurs, etc), so the plan was to have a teddy bear picnic out on the playground and families could join. Unfortunately it wasn't exactly picnic weather, so it was an indoor thing. The kids still had a lot of fun with it though:)

Of course Sadie and Jack brought teddy bears too. Sadie had the habit of sucking on her hands (teething), thus getting them all chapped and sore... so I tried mittens for a while. They sort of worked.

My friend Becky (Adam's friend, Leah's mom) offered to picnic with Jack, so he joined the girls over there;)

Valentine's Party, hair cuts, and bike rides

What... those go together, don't they? First off, Valentine's Party! Adam's teacher was amazing at having regular programs/parties in the classroom, so they were always working on presenting something. Of course for February it was a Valentine's theme. They sang a bunch of songs about love; it was really cute ("That's Amore" coming from a class of kindergarteners was pretty funny!) Jack and Sadie love visiting the classroom too:)

Jack's hair grows kinda funky with little "wings" out the sides... at this point he hadn't really needed much of a haircut, but I decided those wings needed taming;)

Sadie didn't get a haircut... she was just along for the ride

We have ourselves a training wheel-free 5-yr-old, folks! He's been so proud, almost as much as mom and dad. We don't have much space for bike riding around the house, so we'll have to get out more for better practice.

I love these kids:)

These little guys are such mess-making, happy, crazy, lovable, loud, and funny kids. I am so blessed!
