So here I am again, "borrowing" a few extra pictures to try and complete the memories we have from our Christmas trip to Utah. For some reason I completely failed to take any at the big family Christmas dinner... and I haven't found any of those to steal yet. In the meantime, thank you
Laura,
Andrea, and
Karin! :)
First of all, how could we forget the awesome game night/Bryce's 1st bday/surprise visit from Andrea, Dean, and family?!! It was so much fun hanging out with everyone! Not to mention the awesome s-p-r-e-a-d of goodies. Seriously, Laura, you went all out! It was awesome.
Can you believe this birthday cake?! Get it? It's Candyland, down to every detail... 'cuz the theme of the night was game night. Fun!
Andreas boys (Tanner, Landon) hanging out with Grandma!
Guy and Landon, who happens to be just younger than Jack and Sadie
Landon and the tank, er, I mean Jack
Alan, Scott, bday boy Bryce, and Tanner
Aunt Beth with Landon, Emma, and Bryce
Now for a quick jump back to Christmas Eve dinner... so many pictures I missed!
Another tradition in our house... Christmas poppers! We let the kids go first to try and minimize dinner getting flung across the room durring "popping":)
Lovin' his snake from Papa and Mama
Grandmama, turning the pages while we listened to her mom (Granma Barbara) read the story via audio recording.
Christmas morning isn't Christmas morning without freshly squeezed orange juice! Goes great with blueberry muffins. Everyone loves to get in on the action.
All the grandkids in their new Christmas jammies, waiting to come down the stairs to see what Santa brought! They were actually surprisingly patient.
I'm glad Karin got a shot of this, 'cuz apparently I didn't! Our big Christmas present this year was a trip to... (drumroll)... Disneyland! Cousin James, who has been before, was more than helpful in getting Adam excited for his first time. More of those pix to follow... eventually.
What's a visit to Grandmama and Papa's house without a dip in the hot tub? Regardless of the weather outside, they'll throw on bathing suits and hop right in... staying for as long as they possibly can. Their favorite wintertime activity is running out and either rolling in the snow or bringing a big chunk of it back in the hot tub with them.
We were so lucky to be able to see all of our Woodcock cousins, who we don't see nearly often enough! Pictured here: me, Lauren (due w/baby girl soon!), Aunt C, Ben, and Megan (holding Sadie girl). So much fun seeing and hanging out with these guys.
Again, (almost) all of the grandkids together: Anna, Lizza, Sadie, Jack, James, Joseph, and Adam
Here's the little girl we were missing this whole time! Seneca, on the laptop monitor, spent Christmas in France this year with her mom and dad (my brother, Matt). We missed you guys so much! Here, my mom is reading that same Christmas story to her.
Jenesse, Joseph, Rob, and Mike... playing with Jack and Sadie's Christmas toys. Have you been lucky enough to experience these "sing-a-ma-jigs"?! They're creepy and cute and hilarious. And annoying, if left in the wrong hands.
Joseph was such a big helper, wanting to help feed Jack-Jack
...and to all a good night!
