This house we live in now is on 4.4 acres of land. We take care of about half of that. I think I've spent more time mowing this lawn than I ever have in my life! I've just gotten used to spending 2-3 days a week in the yard alone. Some days I think really seriously about getting a ride-on mower, but who knows how much longer we'll have this big of a yard to take care of. Actually, it's been a really fun excuse to not waste too much of the summer indoors. Adam comes out with us to help, while Jack and Sadie spend a lot of the time either in their swing or with snacks and toys in their wagon:)

Last of the kindergarten pix!
As Adam's kindergarten year started coming to a close, I tried taking a few more pictures. Here he is with his good friend Sean, as we picked him up from school one day.
cute buds:)
As parents, we're allowed to join our kids for lunch. Guy had gone a couple of times when he got done early for lunch, but I had a harder time taking the opportunity because it happened to fall right during Jack and Sadie's nap time. About a week before school let out, though, I bugged a friend of mine who was willing to take Jack and Sadie so I could have some 1-on-1 (plus a billion other kindergarteners) with my little buddy during his lunch time. I traded for her son, who will be in kindergarten next year. He had a blast with the "big kids" too!
Me, Tommy, and Adam
Sean, Laila, Jasmine, and Nohelia
At first I was taking a picture of Adam and one or two friends, but as soon as I pulled out the camera it was like a giant magnet! A bunch of other kids from the class came over and wanted to be in the pic too. I love how they're all such great friends!
Adam's teacher put on this really cute graduation program. She held it in the library, and then showed a little movie of pictures she'd taken throughout the year. The kids loved seeing themselves up on the screen and would shout out each other's names every time. It was cute.
The little guys were thrilled to be there ;)
Here he is with the amazing Mrs. Brennan!
After graduation we took him out to lunch (hence the balloons). This seriously never happens... he must've been pretty exhausted from all the celebrating!

Misc summer fun
We had some old peanut butter and a couple hundred pinecones hanging around the property, so we put two and two together and decided to make some pinecone bird feeders with our friends! Wow. Messy project!
This is just funny. I love the expression on Jack's face. ...And his belly.
Like I've said, we love our Yo Gabba Gabba! Aw, cozy with Brobee.
These pix got mixed up again, but these are from Adam's golf lessons. Jack and Sadie and I had fun hanging around while Adam perfected his put ;)
Again, just funny to me. Sadie climbed herself up onto those baskets, then got so frustrated and sad when she couldn't get down. Ha!
Swimming with friends! So refreshing.
There are two LDS stakes in this area and they combined forces weeks ago to create a bi-stake 5k fun run. It was fun! I quickly learned that I do not enjoy running on grass for that long, but it made for a fun morning. Adam even ran the primary race. Good times. There he is below, fourth from the left.
Golf lessons with his friend, Harshitha
Check out that swing!:)
