"6 weeks?! We don't need no stinkin' 6 weeks!"

Despite losing their last 6-weeks in the womb, Jack and Sadie seem to be doing just fine lately. We just bumped Jack up to 6-12 month sized clothes, and he's none too small for them. Sister Sadie is still ok in her 3-6 size, for now. I thought that she might be slowly closing the size-gap between them, until their doctor's visit yesterday. Here are their current 4-month stats as well as a few pix, if interested...
..
HEIGHT
(lucky them... guess they take after their mom here:)
Sadie: 23.75" (25th %)
Jack: 24.25" (25th %)
..
WEIGHT
(fatties!)
Sadie: 14lb 14oz (75th %) ...exactly 10lbs heavier than her birthweight
Jack: 17lb 5oz (90th %) ...almost 12lbs heavier than b.w.
...Jack is 2.5lbs heavier than Sadie!
..
HEAD CIRCUMFRENCE
(poor kids are doomed by their big-headed genes on both sides:)
Sadie: 43.8cm (95th %)
Jack: 44.2cm (90th %)

So, yeah, they're doing well size-wise. Socially, they're smiling and "cooing" and talking. It's so much fun! We need to work a little w/the rolling over and grabbing for things, but the doctor says this delay is due to prematurity and that they'll catch up by 12 months.

Check out that cutie cuddling his sister...His face gets so animated when he "talks". They both are turning into real talkers lately and are drooling like crazy. They like to chew on their hands and frequently suck their thumbs/fingers. The dentist in Guy just cringes at the thumb-sucking, but the parent in him (and me!) finds it irresistably cute! What a sweetheart. I love her face... and those pretty little babydoll lips!

And to think where they were just 4 months ago...
